Glacier 3000 offers excellent hiking opportunities for everyone - from the easy family hike to the technically challenging alpine tour.

The hike on the glacier from Scex Rouge to Quille du Diable (approx. 1 hour) is open year-round. The restaurant Refuge l'Espace, located on the edge of the glacier, gives guests a great view down into the Derborance Valley and into the Wallis. It offers guests a taste of the local cuisine and a unique experience.

Another well-known hike goes from Scex Rouge to the Sanetsch Pass via Quille du Diable. During this 4 1/2 hour hike in alpine surroundings, you have unusual views of flowing water and ice, as well as of the diverse flora and fauna landscape found in the midst of steep cliffs. We offer special tickets for only CHF 58.80 for adults (CHF 53.40 with a 1/2 tax or GA pass) and CHF 29.40 for children. This roundtrip price includes the cable car ride from Col du Pillon to Scex Rouge and from Sanetch Pass to Gsteig and then the ride back with the postal bus (Postauto) from Gsteig to Col du Pillon.
