| One can already see the fixed rope route during the cable car ride from Col du Pillon to the middle station Cabane. From Cabane, there is a trail to the start of the fixed rope route, which passes by the SAC cabin "Cabane des Diablerets". The fixed rope route starts off as a relatively wide trail. It then quickly narrows, follows along the side of a cliff and then leads back to the starting point.
With good equipment and a bit of experience, it is possible to explore the route on your own. You also have the possibility of hiring a mountain guide to safely lead you on this route.
